We are a locally owned and family-run tourism operator based in Dawson City. We specialize in sharing our love of the Northern Yukon wilderness with others and offer scenic flights and ideal access to the Northern backcountry for all of our wilderness adventures!

ARCTIC COAST TOURS
We offer your choice of TWO full-day tours starting from Dawson City and travelling to the Arctic Coast. Enjoy epic scenery, Arctic wildflowers, & the wildlife of the north! Head Northeast through the Tombstone Territorial Park towards Inuvik Northwest Territories. See the iconic Dempster Hwy and the Mackenzie River. Land at Tuktoyaktuk and have lunch along the Arctic Ocean. Watch for Beluga whales in the Arctic estuaries. Or, head strait north to land at Old Crow, Yukon, fly over the Vuntut National Park, and land, weather, permitting on the Arctic Coast at Komakuk Beach to enjoy a fresh lunch. We will follow along the world-famous Firth River and try to find some wildlife along our journey.
YUKON PADDLING TRIPS
We can fly you into and out of your favourite rivers in the Northern Yukon including but not exclusive too: The Blackstone River, Hart River, North & South Ogilvie Rivers, Peel River, Wind River, Bonnet Plume River, Whitestone River, Tatonduk River, Miner River, Fishing Branch River, Porcupine River & the iconic Firth River! As always, we are happy to work with you to create a memorable custom trip based on your needs!
HIKING
Let us take you to places less travelled! We offer hiking transportation to remote regions of the Yukon including, but not limited to the Tombstone Territorial Park and Ivvavik National Park. Access the areas less travelled by float & tundra tire equipped airplanes. A safe and affordable option so close to Dawson City! Guided hiking is available upon request. Gear rental is also available!
HUNTING AND FISHING
Take advantage of our charter services for Yukon residents pursuing either Moose, Caribou, or Dall Sheep in the remote areas of the Yukon. Please note, Yukon non-residents must hunt with an outfitter and PWA does not offer any guided hunting services. Feel like fishing? choose from either our single-day fishing adventures or make a trip out of it with our multi-day self-guides fishing excursions!
ABOUT US
Allow us to introduce ourselves! We are Haylee and Colin, the owners and operators of Peel Wilderness Aviation and we are excited to share our love of the Yukon with you. Peel Wilderness Aviation is a family-run air charter and tourism business based in Dawson City, Yukon. We also can offer services out of the Chapman Lake Airport on the Dempster highway, and Carmacks, YT. Colin's family owned and operated Nahoni Air Ltd, which is now known as Peel Wilderness Aviation. Our company has been specializing in providing access to the Yukon’s remote wilderness and mountains by air for the last 25 years. Our pilots have years of experience flying throughout Canada's North with tundra-tire wheel, ski, and float equipped aircraft. Our areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: the Peel Watershed, Tombstone Territorial Park, and the Ogilvie Mountains.
